Doctor Who's chief writer & producer, Steven Moffat, has hit out at fans who leak the show's upcoming story-lines on the internet, referring to the release of spoilers as 'vandalism'. His rant came after one viewer, who attended a Doctor Who press event, leaked details of the current series all over the web.
Moffat told BBC Radio 5 Live "You can imagine how much I hate them. I wish they could go and be fans of something else. I just hope that guy never watches my show again, because that's a horrific thing to do." Hear it straight from the horse's mouth below:
Moffat later took to his twitter account to somewhat downplay his outburst: "Finally heard my own rant. Grumpy sod. And what a boring, inflection-free voice! It's like being told off by the shipping forecast".
We think he's absolutely right to be angry. However it's up to the show's viewers to decide whether they want to spoil their own fun by searching for leaked plot-lines on the web. If you don't want to know; don't google it.
