Congrats to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2! The final instalment in the wizardly series starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson & Rupert Grint has smashed the US box office record for the highest-grossing US opening weekend ever, taking $168.6 million in just three days.
Author J.K. Rowling's contractual demand that all 8 films should be British-made has certainly been a wise move for the UK film industry. It's estimated that this final film has the potential to break through the $1 billion barrier.
