If you are or know someone aged 16 - 24 who'd like to work in the music industry - listen up: Blackberry and icould have teamed up to launch Music Insiders; a campaign that provides advice, tips and even work experience within the coolest jobs around.
The aim is to show the endless breadth of career opportunities available within the music industry to young people who don't necessarily want to be performers. icould have met and interviewed a plethora of talented & inspiring professionals for this project, including video director Emil Nava, who has directed all of Jessie J's vids:
Make sure to head to their site for more interviews with Miles Leonard (President of Parlophone & Virgin), Janet Choudry (Senior Publicist at EMI), Amit and Naroop (photographers who have worked with Tinie Tempah, Sugababes, N-Dubz), Stephanie Gannon-Malcolm (make-up artist on music videos), and many many more.
And here's the best bit: icould and Blackberry are giving a few lucky winners the chance to become 'Music Insiders' for a day, with prizes including work experience on a music video set, a trip to Ibiza to work for super-club Amnesia, and a day assisting photographers Amit and Naroop on their next celebrity photoshoot. Click HERE for your chance to win. There's even a brand new Blackberry Torch up for grabs! Click HERE for that.
The partnership between icloud and Blackberry was formed by youth engagement agency Livity, check them out on twitter @LivityUK, and use the hash tag #musicinsiders. Also make sure to visit icloud's facebook page. Now take part and spread the word!
