SPOTIFY PARTNERS WITH VIRGIN

After several months of rumours, Virgin Media in the UK have just confirmed a deal with Spotify, offering its streaming music services to their British customers over multiple platforms.

The exclusive deal sees Virgin's 4 million subscribers gain access to Spotify's 13 million-track library of music via their computer, mobile device or TV. The team at Spotify is currently working hard as it gears up its US launch, and this new deal can only serve to help them grow.

We've said it before, in our humble opinion Spotify is miles ahead of the game in the way all music will be consumed in the near-future, and any media company who joins them now is all the smarter for it. Nice one, Virgin. Click here for more info.
