As of this very moment, head HERE for all future posts.

SPRAWL II

Here comes another great interactive video from Arcade Fire for new single Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains). Below is the traditional version, directed by Vincent Morisset, but head here for the interactive version, where your webcam will be automatically activated, and where your every moves will be reflected into the promo. Fun stuff.

HOME-GROWN: HOWARD GREENHALGH FOR DOVE

Our directors are keeping everyone looking young and feeling fresh this week, what with Lucy's latest Garnier UltraLift spot, and now our very own Howard Greenhalgh's brand new ad for Dove Men+Care deodorant:

SOFIA COPPOLA + H&M + MARNI

Oscar-winning writer/director Sofia Coppola's been roped in to shoot the campaign video for H&M's next designer collaboration, with cult Italian design house Marni.

The ad, which was shot this week in Marrakech, will air online and on TV early next year, and the collection will be in stores on March 8th 2012 (but you already knew that).

To be honest, it's nice to see H&M venturing away from their preferred director Johan Renck for their designer campaigns. He is undeniably talented, but the spots have become a little predictable. We're looking fwd to seeing Coppola's take very soon.

FLIGHT FACILITIES

Today we are loving the high-camp, 70s Charlie's Angels vibe of anonymous indie DJ duo Flight Facilities' brand new single, Foreign Language.

The brilliant promo is directed by Dimitri Basil and Laura Gorun, and you can get the track here.

L.A.DY DIOR

John Cameron Mitchell has a bit of fun with Dior's fifth instalment of the Lady Dior films, starring Marion Cottilard as a pampered starlet who whinges a bit, and then loses it a bit. Nothing revolutionary here, but it did make us chuckle.

HOME-GROWN: LUCY BLAKSTAD FOR GARNIER

Check out our very own Lucy Blakstad's latest ad for Garnier UltraLift! Starring the lovely Davina McCall, the spot shines a light on UltraLift's customers; real women, real beauty, and real feedback.

Look out for this campaign on your TV very soon, and enjoy Lucy's director's cut below now. Hurrah!

BLURRING THE BORDERS

Today we are loving British designer (and Central St Martins alum) Neil Barrett's new fashion short, Blurring The Borders. The film was created in collaboration with Dazed to celebrate the launch of his new webstore

Music is kindly provided by none other than Jamie xx, styling by Katie Shillingford, and stars models Andrej Pejic, Nastia and Thomas Penfound. Have a look:

Here's a little something festive from funny man Adam Buxton, celebrating the unique art of television advertising at Christmas...

THE BEST PERSON I KNOW

Here's one for the drawer marked 'Cheap, Cheerful & Lovely' - the brand new vid for Cat's Eyes's latest single, The Best Person I Know.

Renowned artist Ron Arad allowed Cat and her band to use his silicon curtain installation, which was on display at the Roundhouse last summer (but you already know all about that because we blogged about it in August), and we think the resulting promo is an unassuming little gem. Have a ganders:

FIGHT FOR PEACE / LUTA

Last week, the HOME.corp team paid a visit to the Fight for Peace academy in North Woolwich, East London. Our Managing Director Emily Bliss first met FFP founder Luke Dowdney over the summer this year and was hugely inspired by the achievements and limitless ambition of his entire team. The more we found out about LUTA as a social enterprise that not only manufactures high quality fight and training wear, but also shares its profits with Fight for Peace, the clearer it became that we simply had to be involved.

Our expertise and contacts within the marketing and advertising world are currently being put to very good use, and we couldn't be more exited to see just how far the LUTA brand will go within the next few months. In the meantime, we were keen to get a deeper understanding of just how Fight for Peace functions, and so we headed to the academy for a closer look.

We met with some incredible young people who talked us through their journey with FFP, the project's ethos and how it's affected their lives. The impact is clear, and seeing their work in action genuinely helped put into focus just how positive and widespread FFP's reach is within communities that suffer from crime and violence. Through boxing, martial arts, education and a strong system of mentoring from the young people themselves, there's an undeniable sense that Fight for Peace has a first-hand understanding of its community's needs, both in London and Rio de Janeiro.

We got to witness a Muay Thai training session led by the much respected Daniel Sams, first hand, which is an experience we're not likely to forget. The focus and energy at work is impressive, and the discipline required to channel all of that energy into a constructive and empowering outlet is truly inspiring. In turn, we left the academy with an even more focussed and determined mindset with which to serve the LUTA brand. Watch this space.

LOOK YOUNGER, LONGER

Well this is fairly unpleasant to watch if you're a smoker, but it is also brilliantly done and effective. Head here for help & more info from Quit.

45 MOST POWERFUL IMAGES OF 2011

Head over to BuzzFeed for a look at their selection of the 45 most powerful images of 2011, which includes shots of the devastation left after the tsunami in Japan (below), Chile's Puyehue volcano erupting (above), and a woman jumping out of a building of fire during the London riots (below below).

MOSS + BOWIE = VOGUE

Brit icon Kate Moss does Brit icon David Bowie on the brand new January cover of French Vogue, shot by Mert & Marcus. Not the first time this has been done (see below), but we like it all the same.

(2015) QUILT

Brilliant effort from the (RED) team, celebrating World Aids Day (which is today) with a virtual quilt of pledges

Their aim is to provide treatment to the millions who need it, drastically reducing new infections, and virtually ending the transmission of HIV from mothers to babies by 2015.

Add your panel to the (2015) QUILT, make a pledge, and receive a free Christmas track from The Killers as a thank you! You can also buy their (RED) Christmas EP here.

NIKI & THE DOVE

We are <3 <3 <3ing Swedish electro-poppers Niki & The Dove in the office today. Hints of The Knife + Stevie Nicks + a little bit of Prince. Check out their latest single The Drummer below, and do give their magnificent new EP (pictured above) a spin here.

APPLE TO LAUNCH iTV

Word on techno street (if such a street existed) is that Apple are readying an integrated TV service that will revolutionise home entertainment, much in the same way that they changed the way we listen to music.

There's much talk of a TV that consumers will be able to talk to, which sounds a little odd and exciting at the same time (if you're as geeky as we are). Head over to the Guardian for all the latest on this.

NY FILM CRITICS CIRCLE

Meryl Streep is no stranger to collecting little statues everywhere she goes, and her latest performance as British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady is already proving very popular with critics.

Streep picked up the Best Actress gong at today's New York Film Critics Circle, whilst Brad Pitt walked away with Best Actor for both of his performances in the baseball film Moneyball and comic drama The Tree of Life

Nostalgic 1920s silent film The Artist (pictured above) continues to make a lot of 'noise', picking up Best Film and Best Director for Michel Hazanavicius. This one is sure to do well at the Oscars on Feb 26. Check out the trailer below:

H&M + MARNI

With the lucrative Versace collection barely under their belt, retail giant H&M have already announced next Spring's designer collaboration with Italian label Marni

As per, the line will feature men and women's pieces that embody the trademark, inventive prints and spirit of Marni's designs, and will be available from 8th of March 2012 in over 260 stores worldwide. Here's a word from Founder and Creative Director Consuelo Castiglioni:

RIP KEN RUSSELL

Legendary and controversial director Ken Russell sadly passed away yesterday at the age of 84.

Best known for his 1971 film The Devils and his 1969 epic Women In Love, for which he was nominated for an Oscar, Russell also directed the cult 1975 rock musical Tommy. He will be sorely missed.

NUCLEAR SEASONS

Today's music vid crush is a lovely slice of electro-popness from London-based singer Charli XCX. The track is called Nuclear Seasons and the promo was directed by Ryan Andrews, with visual effects by the always excellent crim3s. Enjoy:

ONE SECOND

Happy Monday one and all. This lunchtime, we're going to be looking at the beauty of a second, with this wonderful collection of 1-second video clips submitted for the Beauty of a Second short film competition.

The competition is orchestrated by Leo Burnett Milan to promote the Montblanc's luxury chronograph, and you can still enter the 3rd round of submissions here. This is the sort of viral marketing campaign we can get behind; lovely stuff.

HOW MANY SLAVES WORK FOR YOU?

Has the abolition served its purpose, or are we deluding ourselves into thinking that slavery no longer exists in modern society?

THIS handy & beautifully-designed website (and app) from the good people at anti-slavery nonprofit Call + Response sheds some light on the matter.

AT HOME WITH ANOUCK

Let's have a little nosy around Belgian supermodel Anouck Lepere's apartment in Antwerp, shall we?

Lepere studied architecture and design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, and is one of Louis Vuitton's latest Amble Ambassadors; check out her app here. (pics via Nowness)

KARINA TAIRA JOINS HOME.CORP

It is with much excitement that we'd like to announce that Karina Taira has just joined the HOME.corp family !

Japanese-American Karina started working as a professional photographer at just 19, whilst studying at the Art Center College of Design in California. She moved to New York after graduating, and was soon shooting for major brands such as Dior, Guerlain, Diesel and L'Oreal.

It was in 1999 that she began directing commercials, working with leading beauty & cosmetics brands (Boucheron, Cerruti, Nivea, Cacharel), whilst also diversifying her reel shooting campaigns for Nestle, Alfa Romeo and Toyota.

Karina splits her time between New York and Paris, but we predict frequent trips to London are on the cards. We couldn't be happier to have her on board! Check out just a couple of her spots below, and head to her reel on our website for more info.

REMASTERING THE MASTERS

Make sure you check out Thai-born artist Pakpoom Silaphan's latest show at London's Scream gallery (18th Nov - 7th Jan).

His street-art-inspired work mixes well-known modern & contemporary artists - such as Peter Blake, Salvador Dali & Francis Bacon - with recognisable mega brand logos. The show is a comment on contemporary art having become a commodity, and the artists themselves having become brands. We like.

EBAY POP-UP SHOP

Beloved online floggers of any old tat ebay are opening a pop-up store in London! Brand agency Push UK have organised a temporary Christmas-themed retail space, which will open its doors on Soho's Dean Street next week (1st - 5th December).

The shop will feature 'buy it now' products only, which customers can purchase by scanning QR codes in-store with their smart phones. The goods will be divided into 'him', 'her' and 'family' sections, with a separate welcome area, where punters can use iPads to shop until they drop. Click here for more info.
