SOFIA COPPOLA + H&M + MARNI

Oscar-winning writer/director Sofia Coppola's been roped in to shoot the campaign video for H&M's next designer collaboration, with cult Italian design house Marni.

The ad, which was shot this week in Marrakech, will air online and on TV early next year, and the collection will be in stores on March 8th 2012 (but you already knew that).

To be honest, it's nice to see H&M venturing away from their preferred director Johan Renck for their designer campaigns. He is undeniably talented, but the spots have become a little predictable. We're looking fwd to seeing Coppola's take very soon.

TOPMAN: 16 & 27

High-street lovers, rejoice. Fast-fashion menswear powerhouse Topman are launching their very own men's fragrances on the 22nd September at the Oxford Circus flagship store.

Entitled 16 and 27, the two scents (+ accompanying grooming range) took five years of research & development, and were created by Agent Provocateur perfumer Azzi Glasser. Expect notes of bergamot, poivre, amber & musk at the heart of 16, and anise, nerolli and nutmeg for 27.

Here's the film accompanying the campaign, which boasts an painfully predictable inspired bit of monologue towards the end.
