His debut album For Emma, Forever Ago topped every critic's list when it came out in 2008. Since then, Bon Iver (aka Justin Vernon) has worked with all & sundry, including contributing to 3 tracks on Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
The man and his band are now back with a self-titled album due out on 21 June (see artwork above); each track on the album is said to be named after or representing a place. Opening song Perth apparently features a marching drum beat, a children's choir & wailing guitars. Fans of moody folk rejoice! Here he is performing an impromptu, a cappella version of For Emma.
