WORLD'S MOST LIVABLE CITIES 2011

The Economist Intelligence Unit announced today its list of the world's most livable cities. The highest score and number one ranking was achieved by Vancouver, Canada.


The City of Glass, which has topped the list for the fifth consecutive year, received a major boost to its infrastructure in 2010 when it hosted the Winter Olympics. It received a 100/100 ranking for its health care services, education system and for its culture & environment rating. The top 10 is dominated by mid-sized cities from Canada and Australia.

8. (equal) Perth & Adelaide, Australia
